Session Description:
A safe bus ride is an important part of a successful school day. This session will help families understand how bus safety works in Cumberland County Schools and how schools and families can partner to prevent problems before they start. We will review student behavior expectations, safety procedures and how conflicts on the bus are handled. Families will also learn the proper chain of command for reporting concerns and what steps to take if an issue arises. We will also explain why concerns must be addressed through school and transportation officials rather than by boarding a bus to resolve a disagreement.
