Homecoming Week is almost here, and we are bringing a little friendly competition to the halls!
On Monday during Homecoming Week, we will be playing Rock, Paper, Scissors using beads. The goal is simple: Challenge. Play. Win. Wear the Beads!
How It Works
Purchase beaded necklace for $2. Have exact change.
Participants will have a set of beads to wear during the day.
Students and staff can challenge one another to a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors.
The winner takes the beads!
If you lose, no worries—find someone else and challenge them for a chance to win another set!
You may continue playing and collecting beads throughout the day.
Feel free to wear your beads proudly and show off your Wolverine spirit!
You may only win if you purchased beads.
If you think you won, we will record your name and the number of beads at the end of the day
Winner will be announced the next day
Prize will be awarded the next day
Participants who do not think they won may give their beads back for a prize Monday at dismissal.
One Important Rule
We do not play during instructional time.
Students should only participate during appropriate non-instructional times, such as:
Class changes
Lunch
Before or after school
Other times when the student has permission to participate
Please do not allow students to leave class or interrupt instruction to participate.
This is simply a fun way to build school spirit, positive relationships, and Homecoming excitement. We want our students and staff to have fun while keeping teaching and learning first!
Let the games begin!
Who will collect the most beads?
Let's show our Wolverine spirit and have some fun during Homecoming Week!

Rock, Paper, Scissors Rules
Find a willing opponent. Both players must agree to play.
Stand face-to-face with your opponent.
Together, say: “Rock, Paper, Scissors, Shoot!”
On “Shoot,” both players show one hand:
Rock beats Scissors
Paper beats Rock
Scissors beats Paper
The winner takes the beads.
If there is a tie, play again until there is a winner.
One game = one opponent. After the game, the winner may continue playing someone else.
Participation is voluntary. If you play, you have to accept a challenge.
No playing during instructional time. Games may only happen during approved non-instructional times.
Keep it fun and respectful. No arguing, grabbing, blocking, or unsportsmanlike behavior.
Teachers should not stop instruction or release students from class to participate.
Have fun and show your Wolverine spirit!
